Whether your requirement is a single parcel or a full container load, Huelin-Renouf Shipping, the experts in bringing goods of all descriptions into the Channel Islands since 1935, will take care of it rapidly and efficiently.
As a shipper of general and consolidated cargo, Huelin-Renouf Services has established a regular customer base now exceeding two thousand clients. Cargo is received and stowed into containers or onto open flats, the collective term being units. The mv Huelin Dispatch (pictured below) has a maximum capacity of 105 units and ship stowing, depending upon demand, can take just seven hours and the sea voyage to the Islands takes approximately 10 hours. Operating out of their own purpose-built warehouse on St Heliers Victoria Quay, Huelin-Renouf Services was the first carrier in the Channel Islands to be awarded the internationally recognised BS EN ISO9002 quality assurance for groupage freight forwarding and are major distributors for many national operators in the Channel Islands.

Huelin-Renouf offer a one point consolidation centre which is located at Flathouse Quay Portsmouth, situated close to the M275, which links with main routes serving all parts of the country. In Portsmouth the Company's Flathouse Quay operations are now the largest integral cargo reception centre in the South of England for the Channel Islands, thanks to the continued investment by our long term partners (MMD Shipping Services Limited) as Port Agents and Stevedores, and of course our valued client base.
With direct loading from the Flathouse Quay to our Lift on / Lift off vessel, the Huelin Dispatch, and immediate access to the Portsmouth Ferry Terminal, there is now greater scope for even more specialised freight services.
Huelin-Renouf Services has invested in new cargo equipment. The introduction of 20 x 8 x 96" high containers will provide the opportunity to load to the maximum height of 2.5 metres on any single pallet board.
This is an essential part of providing a door-to-door service on behalf of U.K. exporters who demand maximum capacity in their own vehicles. The major benefit to the client is that all pallet boards are received, shipping and delivered without breaking down the layers. This ensures that all difficulties in obtaining a clean proof of delivery in pallet quantities are overcome.
We are also in the process of enlarging our fleet of 8 metre Tautliner Trailers. This will give us greater flexibility in providing our twice-daily roll-on roll-off trailer service that we currently operate with platform trailers.
Huelin-Renouf also operates a busy Airfreight Division with offices located at Jersey & Guernsey Airports.
